I began my journey in dentistry at the age of 16, developing a deep passion for the craft. With years of hands-on experience in both the laboratory and clinical settings, I now share the knowledge I’ve gained in the complex art of making and providing dentures.
My training took me to George Brown College in Toronto, Canada, and I later qualified in the UK through the Royal College of Surgeons, England.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in dental laboratories of all sizes, from small teams to large facilities with over 50 technicians.
I also ran my own dental laboratory for many years and, together with my brother Stuart, built a thriving dental practice, which we successfully sold for £1.5 million.
While I now work just a couple of days a week at the clinic we sold, I remain deeply committed to my craft.
The cases I love the most are those where I work closely with my dentist colleagues to support patients who may not have visited the dentist in years and who are facing challenges with their remaining teeth.
These cases often involve extractions performed by the dentist, temporary dentures, and then permanent dentures once healing is complete.
Some patients may also benefit from implant-retained dentures, which can provide incredible stability and functionality. These types of treatments truly transform lives, restoring confidence and smiles.
My work goes beyond just creating dentures—it’s about building relationships and sharing knowledge.
I’m passionate about bringing others along on this journey, sharing everything I’ve learned while continuing to learn from others. With ambitious plans to establish new denture clinics across the South, I aim to enhance the experiences of both clinicians and patients in the pursuit of better, more modern dentures.
